Description
Cycles Mercier is a French bicycle manufacturer founded in 1919 by Emile Mercier in Saint-Etienne, the cradle of French cycling manufacturing.
This classic Mercier dates back to the 1970s and it is an elegant ladies road bicycle indeed. The frame of this elegant bike is made of steel tubes joined together with lugs. The fame is build in a way, where the sloping top tube splits behind the seat tube in half. It ensures a proper rigidity in the read triangle yet keeping the bike comfortable as well. French frame builders often called this construction simply "sport".
Regarding the components, a festival of French components takes place. Stronglight crank, Mavic rims and pedals, Simplex shifting, Mafac brakes, you name it.
Great bicycle for your city adventures or leisure weekend rides - in style! Ready for L'Eroica.
