Atala is an Italian famous manufacturer founded back in 1907. In its fruitful history the Atala company manufactured some great classic road bicycles and our exemplar is certainly one of them.

Atala had successfully started sponsoring racing teams as early as 1908 and stopped only in 1990! So the top models of this traditional brand were pretty competitive as they were also used in the tough pro races. In the 1980s, the decade our model stems from, the Atala bicycles have been triumphant in numerous races such as world championships, Italian championships and stage victories in the grand tours.

Our Atala Special has the frame made of strong Columbus tubes, which have been connected by beautiful lugs. On these and some other parts like the fork crown or stay caps for example you would find precisely engraved Atala emblems.
