Here we offer you a Colnago Master frame from the early 1990s. It is refurbished and thus in great condition!
The very first generation of the Colnago Master was released in 1984, the same year in which Giuseppe Saronni won the Giro d'Italia - riding a Colnago Master, of course.
The Master was meant to be an improvement of the Mexico which had been Colnago's top model before. It had completely different lugs and a drastically changed profiled tubing.
Any cyclist out there dreamed to own a Master, just like any avid collector nowadays has one in his collection. The frame truly is an "evergreen". The tubing - "Columbus Gilco Design - Profilo S4" - was specifically designed by Gilberto Colombo to improve the stiffness and to better withstand mechanical strain.
The Master had a huge impact on the cycling scene and became the most winning road bike frame in the following years.
