Description
When the mountain bike wave swept over from the US to Europe in the 1980s, Colnago was - after Cinelli - one of the first companies to adopt to the situation.
Akin to their approach on road bikes, their cross country bikes were designed to be up in the top class.
This Colnago De Luxe is made of Colnago proprietary tubing, possibly made by Tange. The distinctive model name referres to the equipment fitted to it - Shimano Deore LX parts with 7-speed STI shifters.
Its components are top notch Shimano Deore XT parts which ensure a nice functionality to this day. The partypice is certainly the paintjob which won't let one head unturned.
For Colnago lovers, for vintage-MTB aficionados and for those who like something a bit more special.

| The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and Colnago decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride. |
