Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This particular Colnago Super dates back to the 1979. And has st some point been refurbished to an 'ice blue' paint.
Regarding the components, this bike is fully fitted with premium parts: a Campagnolo Super Record Gruppo, Colnago pantographed brake shoes(!), Mavic rims, 3ttt cockpit and a lightweight STM Superleggera saddle.
Iconic. Approved for Eroica events worldwide.
