Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This particular Colnago Super Road Bike dates back to 1980. It has been refurbished and it received a classic "Sarroni red" paintjob.
This bike is fitted with Campagnolo Chorus groupset, San Marco Rolls saddle and a pair of brand new Paratacer tires.
Big size Colnago Super in iconic Sarroni red. Great for a classic cycling event or just for a nice ride.
