Bianchi is the oldest Italian bike manufacturer which is still in producing today.
In 1985, they started into their second century of bike building. One of their models in that year was the Bianchi Rekord 910s. The s in the name stood for Shimano. So Bianchi tried to make new combinations of frames and groupsets available to the market. In the case of this model it is a classic Bianchi frame, built from a strong variety of Columbus tubes which was called Bianchi Formula Two.
As for the Shimano groupset, the classic 600EX famously provided practically the same performance as the Dura Ace. And with its 26t rear sprocket, it is a perfect option for L'Eroica - Just switch from indexed to friction shifting by a twist of a ring on your right shifting lever and you are ready to go!
This Rekord 910 is in very good condition. Only few traces of usage. If you make it yours, you practically get yourself a rarely used bike which is 32 years old.
