This bike based on a CBT Italia frame and a Campagnolo Record Titanium groupset is a masterpiece in steel.
For the tubing CBT used Columbus SLX - the obvious choice for most of the professional frames back then. But it would not be a CBT if they had left it with just good materials.
Nearly every tube has been profiled in a special way to enhance the stiffness of the frame where needed but also to keep it comfortable in general! The fork and chainstays are diamond shaped. The main tubes are reinforced by a series of crimps.
As a side effect the frame looks really stunning. The paint in black gold and red shows almost no traces of storage what so ever. A superb frame for a very special bike like this.
So we attached parts to it that could keep up with it. Most of it is formed by Campagnolo Record Titanium 10-speed parts. They ultimately turn this bike into a high performance machine of the finest provenience
