Beschreibung

At the shores of the Lago Maggiore lake in the Northern Italian Varese Region lays the small city of Ispra. It is home to an old family business, a bicycle shop, which was founded in 1935 by Romeo Franzetti. The Bottega del Romeo exists to this day and to this day it is offering its help to everybody in Ispra with a bicycle related problem.

In the 1980s the Bottega was selling fine bikes as a shop brand, like some other renowned bike shops did, too. Our Cicli Romeo Classic Road Bicycle from the 1980s is exactly one of those machines. It was built by one of the best contract builders of their time. Biemmezeta made bicycles which were so beautiful that they outshone many of the established brand's bikes.

Our Romeo is build from Columbus' extra-fine KL tubing, just be chromed and painted with a translucent grey layer on top. Small details like the engraved lugs give the frame an extra-opulent look.

As for the parts, you will find a rare Gipiemme Cronosprint White Laser groupset. It is really hard to get a complete set nowadays.

A bike like this will definitely turn some heads. For Capulets and Montagues alike.
