In the 1970s and 1980s, the Colnago Sport was supposed to be an affordable alternative to the costly regular Colnagos. The whole brand was aimed at the German market. It was not supposed for everyday usage in professional racing but for normal people who wanted a reliable yet elegant piece of sports equipment. And thus its bikes mostly lack pantographs and the extremely expensive Super Record parts. But non the less it is a well manufactured, well designed bike.
Our Colnago Sport Donna is an elegant bike based on a steel frame with some nice cutout lugs. The frame has been refurbished and received a vivid Champagne paintjob.
As for the parts, it is equipped with Cammpagnolo shifting with fine Nuovo Record derailleur, Campagnolo hubs and bottom bracket, Gipiemme crankset, Universal braking or 3ttt cockip and seatpost.
If you are looking for a quality vintage ladies road bike for cycling events or simly for a pleasamt ride, this one is for you.
