Few bicycles have influenced the sports cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This particular Colnago Super dates back to the 1980s and the frameset has been fully refurbished. Beside that, the bike underwent a complete service and all parts have been cleaned, oiled and adjusted. Bar tape, cables and tires are new.
Regarding the components, this Colnago Super is fully fitted with premium parts: a Campagnolo Nuovo Record Gruppo.
