Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This particular Colnago Super has been refurbished in a traditional bright orange paintjob.
Regarding the components, the top of the line parts from Campagnolo - the Super Record Gruppo have been chosen. Furthermore the Colnago pantographed stem and chainring give this bike that something extra.
