Beschreibung

In 1939, four years after setting the World Hour Record, Giuseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling career. Straight afterwards he set up a bicycle manufacture in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The traditional company is still in production today. During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.

The Olmo Competition formed the core of the road bike series. Our Olmo competition stems from approximately 1981 and it has many fine details to look at. Mainly the fine cutout lugs or tha CAmpagnolo dropouts with porta catena drillings. The frame of light Columbus SL tubes still sports the original champagne paintjob with some gentle golden detailing.

It is also equipped with high end Campagnolo Super Record groupset completed with Ambrosio rims or Supercorsa saddle. What's more, some parts have been Olmo pantographed like the Cinelli stem, seatpost or the chainring.

A fine Columbus frame with high class Campagnolo parts and in nice original condition on top - what is not to like?
