Beschreibung

Peloso was a small Italian manufacturer from Alessandria, a city somewhere between Turin and Milan. He concentrated on high-end custom made bicycles and therefore the production was very limited.
Consequently it is very hard to find some of those beautiful Peloso bikes and frames these days. And whenever we are able to get hold one of them we get pretty excited. The typical attention to detail of an artisan is also visible in our Peloso Road bike frame from the 1960s.
Our bike was built up as a high end and strictly Italian machine. Its frame consists of light and strong Columbus tubes and the parts are formed by a complete Campagnolo Record groupset.

The bike has been reportedly used by the 'Squadra Corse Amiantite Novi Ligure. And its use as a competitive machine probably explains the heap of rare early record parts on it.
Just to mention three really searched for items:
- The rear derailleur is a first version Record one with the Patent Campagnolo stamping and 9-teeth pulley wheels. - As seatpost serves an exceedingly rare Campagnolo Record narrow rail version (model 1045) - To fit it, the saddle is an even more rare Brooks narrow rail one. A type which brooks made specifically for the seatpost mentioned above.

The other parts are top notch as well and equal the excellent quality of the frame.

This is a bike which is not only nice to look at - because it does ride extremely well, too. Certainly a bike for connoisseurs and made for the open road. Checked and ready to take you on your next adventure.
