Porta Corsa Classic Bicycle from the 1970s

Here we present F.lli Porta Corsa - a very interesting classic bicycle. Porta was a small Italian frame manufacturer in Nichelino, near Turin. The frame is made of a legend amongst the classic steel tubing of the 1970s - a Columbus SL. It was painted in an elegant bright champagne color. By contrast, the lug cutouts are painted black.

Porta frames are not common indeed, but what makes this bicycle really alluring is the unusual choice of components. On one side, we can find here a blend of fine classic components from Campagnolo, Shimano and Weinmann. On the other side, there are reliable modern yet classic looking components as well, like the rims, hubs or the seat post.

Overall, this classic bicycle is perfect for a rough surface of L'Eroica routes.
