In the late 1980s and early 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bike frames you could get and therefore the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well made triangle of light and rigid Columbus SLX tubes. SLX was a "superbutted" tubeset from Cyclex steel, that was designed for professional use and became famous for its helical reinforcements on the end of the tubes.
The frame we present here has the original first Team Teve Blad paint scheme and on top it has a chromed rear triangle and a chromed fork! You had to order those as a costly extra.
The frameset is completely new. It has never been assembled as a bike. Furthermore it shows almost no signs of storage.
