Description
This Colnago Spiral Conic Postmodern Steel Bicycle is an extremely fine gem. It embodies the meeting of two icons from different eras: the finest Colnago steel frame manufacturing and the most advanced Campagnolo technology.
The core of this stunning racing bicycle is a Colnago Spiral Conic steel frame, first released in 1989. It was born from a collaboration with Columbus, which designed a special SLX tubing with a crimped down-tube with an increasing diameters, from 28.6mm diameter at the head tube to 32mm at the bottom bracket. According to the internally routed rear brake cable and the straight fork blades, this model approximately dates back to 1991-1992. The light and sturdy Columbus SLX tubes and the straight fork, which also allows a more precise and more comfortable steering compared to traditional forks, make this Colnago Spiral Conic a bicycle designed for racing. It has been furthermore professionally repainted with care, thus it is flawless.
As for the jet engine, a brand new Campagnolo 80th Anniversary groupset assures the performance this Colnago frame deserves. Produced in a limited version to celebrate the 80th company year, this groupset is very lightweight and performance-oriented, but also shows an elegant and sleek design, typical of Campagnolo tradition.
A lightweight and reliable Mavic Ksyrium wheelset will also contribute to give you one of the smoothest and most pleasant ride experience ever!
The original Campagnolo 80th Anniversary box and bottle cage are included.
