The history of the Guerciotti brand started in 1964 when the brothers Italo and Paolo Guerciotti – at the time road respectively cyclocross riders – opened a small workshop in the outskirts of Milan.
As stated in one of their 80s catalogues, "Guerciotti builds bicycles that unify function and workmanship as never before. To the last detail, every Guerciotti caresses the eye and challenges the spirit, using the most advanced frame geometry and equipment technology available".
This particular Guerciotti is no exception. The Columbus SL lugged frameset illustrates very precisely filed lugs with elegant cutouts and engravings which are clear indicators that this Guerciotti was a high-end model of its time.
Fully equipped with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, pantographed stem and shifters and an NOS Larcia Italy saddle!

| The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork has been refurbished. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! Parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride. | |
