Marosticana is the classic Officina Battaglin steel frame which comes with a chrome-plated finish. It bears the name of the road that crosses the verdant plains at the base of the Venetian foothills and runs through the medieval town of Marostica, where the adventure of Giovanni Battaglin both as a professional rider and an entrepreneur began.
The frame itself is made of new niobium edition of the classic Columbus SL tube set. The refined chrome-plated lugs enhance the beautiful retro-inspired design, providing Marosticana a timeless appeal. The classic Italian road geometry with a horizontal top tube reminds of the unforgettable races in the past that made cycling one of the most popular sports in the world. The superb look dresses the benefits of a smooth ride and great handling given only by handcrafted steel, brought to life by master artisans.
This bicycle has been equipped with brand new Campagnolo Centaur 11-speed groupset, which is one of the last Campagnolo ones which was still produced in silver optic. Additionaly you will find Campagnolo wheelset, Cinelli pantographed cockpit and a set of Japanese made Panaracer Pasela Protite tires.
A classy road bicycle which rides like a dream and looks very classic indeed at the same time.
