Peugeot was one of those early bicycle manufacturers which grew big and successful during the 20th century. Their first bike was already built around 1882 but their reputation grew mainly due to their racing activities from 1903 until 1983.
In this time they managed to win the Tour de France 10 times and a number Championships, Classics and one day races. Who has not seen the pictures of Tom Simpson and Eddy Merckx, winning the World Championships 1965 and 1967 on a Peugeot?
This particular Peugeot PBN10S from the 1980s is one of those splendid bicycles.The frame is a classic lugged construction made from Peugeot's own Carbolite Steel tubing and features a semi chromed fork and chromed fork crown.
Our bicycle arrived here in pretty good condition. So it not just looks stunningly well preserved, but it also still has almost all original parts on it. You will find typical French parts, which were supplied by the likes of Stronglight, Simplex, ATAX and others.
