Bianchi Super Corsa Vintage Road Bike 1979

Masterly handmade in Italy by the Bianchi Reparto Corse – the Bianchi racing division - the Bianchi Supercorsa has been the top-of-the line bike. The "celeste paintwork" and chromed lugs formed an icon of the finest and purest racing tradition of the Italian bike manufacturing.

This Bianchi Supercorsa dates back to the late 1979 and was described in a later Bianchi catalogue as following:
"This is the model everyone dreams of. Who would won't appreciate the craftsmanship, hand detailing and years of racing experience that has gone into designing this superb achievement in lightweight elegance and performance. Meticulously put together by hand in Bianchi's special racing department, this model is definitely for the racing enthusiast. [...] Hand lightened gear levers and polished chrome lugs are just a few indications of Bianchi's superior assembling techniques. The finishing on these bikes is unexcelled."

There is not much we have to add. Highlighted by a Campagnolo Super Record groupset and an Almarc leather handlebar, the frame does not only ride like a sportster, it looks its part, too.
The bike has been refurbished to a very high standard using the parts that would have originally been used in 1979.

This Bianchi Supercorsa has been checked thoroughly in our workshop, so that it will deliver the same unique riding feeling it had in 1979.
