Chesini Precision Crono Vintage Bicycle mid 1980s

"Our real and unique intent is to build special race bikes, perfect for racers and amateurs". This is what Chesini has been doing for more than 90 years in Verona and what has made Chesini a brand renowned worldwide.
In 1925 by the skilful hands of Gelmino Chesini, founder of the prestigious brand, the first innovative bike was created in the workshop of Nesente, a small village near Verona. When Gelmino Chesini released his first bicycle model he named it the Chesini Biciprecision. Fifty years later, his son Gabriele Chesini used the name Precision for his best frames. These bicycles have been named "Precision" because of the way in which they were manufactured. Thanks to incredibly detailed and refined engravings, fine Columbus SL tubes connected into the lugs with extreme precision, they became admired, indeed, as some of the the best manufactured bicycle frames in the world. And until today Chesini keeps producing beautiful steel bikes in the City of Verona.

Our particular Chesini Precision Crono is a special and very collectible vintage bicycle. The frame is made specially for the Modolo Kronos brakes and has aerodynamic features like aero shifters, fully integrated brake cables and light Columbus SL steel. One of the highlights is the leather ALMARC wrapped handlebars with inner routed brake cables.
