Description
This Serena Olympia is a rare vintage bicycle which was made by the rather unknown small Italian manufacturer Serena. Situated in the City of Brescia in northern Italy, Serena made some really excellent bikes. Not only was he responsible for some great Battaglin bikes, he also gave advice on the geometry of Dancelli frames. Roberto Visentini won the Giro d'Italia on one of his bikes in 1986! Piero Serena truely was a pundit of frame building. If you take a look at the accurately applied fine lugs on this bike, there is no way not to recognise immediately that this is a master's work. The frame and fork have very nice details like pantographs of the Olympic rings! The bike is equipped with lovely vintage parts from the same era.
This is a lovely Italian bicycle from the 1970s for someone who prefers to have something special besides the mainstream of Colnago, Cinelli & co ;-)
