TVT (Technique du Verre Tissé) has been responsible for some of the most successful early carbon fiber bikes in the pro peloton. The list of their riders equals the who is who of top class cycling. You do not remember TVT? Well maybe it is some interesting trivia that Bernard Hinault, Pedro Delgado, Greg Lemond and Miguel Indurain all raced on TVT bikes to victories in the Tour de France! In the late 1980s and early 1990s, TVT frames were just as top notch as it got.And here we present you one of those frame which carried many riders to great victories. This TVT 92 Classic Carbon Fiber Frame is based on carbon tubes connected to aluminium lugs. But it is so much more! The way how the two elements are held together has been perfected through 1980s. The whole structure is nicely stiff yet light and some features like the "S" bent seatstays add to comfort as well.
The frame itself weights just 1460 g and the fork with steel steerer and carbon fiber blades just 412 g!
If that wouldn't be enough, the condition of this one is simply great.
The bottom bracket shell is chamfered for Mavic bottom bracket, which is available (Mavic 610) as an optional extra.
