Undisputedly, the classic Wilier Triestina is one of the most beautiful racing bicycles ever manufactured. These bikes are always strinking, not just because of the precisely crafted details but also because of the iconic copper colored "Ramata" paintjob.
Wilir Triestina can be lesser known than Colnago, Bianchi or De Rosa, but the sheer beauty of these copper colored bikes is definitely up there. This bike we present you here is even more beautiful. On top of the typical details known from Wiliers, you will fins some interesting features found very rarely. The most noticable is the fork, the fork crown to be specific. It is gently sloping backwards with straight top and it's simply beautiful. The Seat stay caps are somewhat more delicate and the heat tube lugs have unusual horizontal lines engraved to them.
This special frame deserved also special components. It has been equipped with nothing less then one of the holy grails of classic componentry - Campagnolo 50th Anniversary groupset. And what's more, this is one of the early groups from the first emission with serial number 02945.
An outstanding bicycle which could be kept in a collection but will be a real headturner at any classic cycling event as well.
