Fritz Fleck was a self-taught frame Builder from Mannheim, Germany. He went into business in 1953 by starting his Brand Flema (FLEck MAnnheim).
In his best years, he made up to 100 Frames, often for others Brands like the German wholesale giant Stier. Though he became famous for experimenting with titanium, which eventually earned one of his bikes a golden medal at the Olympic games of 1972, steel bikes remained the backbone of his production.
The Flema Super frame has an aggressive geometry, with stiff angles and a short wheelbase. It is a road bicycle built with the intent of high speed and racing. The bicycle displays an artisan level of fastidious diligence, just have a look at the detailing on the lugs! What is more, the bicycle has been equipped with a high-end Shimano Dura-Ace groupset.

Used. Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The frame still has its original paint work, it shows some . All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
