Beschreibung

In 1939, Guiseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling carreer. Straight afterwards he set up a bicycle manufacture firm in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The company is still in production today. During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.
One of them was the Olmo Competition. The Olmo Competition was the road bike series. It was built during the 1970s and 1980s in different versions from an amateur training bike up to a professional racing machine.
The bike we present here is one of the latter. It is one of those top models, completely outfitted with a pantographed Campagnolo Record groupset! The frame is made of Columbus SL (Super Leggeri = Super Light) tubes. The paintwork is still the original beautifully remote pearly dove blue.
This bike is suitable for any vintage cycling event and will also carry you on weekend rides.
