Wilier Triestina is an old company which was already founded in 1906. Not in Triest though, as the name might suggest. Triest was not even part of Italy back then but the name expressed the wish for a unification with the occupied city.
Wilier became famous for beautiful and fast road bikes - especially the ones covered in a special paint.
Known as "Ramata" amongst enthusiasts - which in Italian means copper plated - it consisted of translucent orange paint on a chromed base layer.
Our Wilier from the 1990s shines in this exact beautiful colour.
But it does not stop there. The frame is made of extra light and stiff Columbus Genius tubing in a special shape. And regarding the parts you will find a complete and perfectly functional Shimano Dura Ace on this 1990s dream bike.
