Magni Oro 24k Gold ICS Customised Bicycle 1980s

Magni Giuseppe - also known as Magni Peppino "Pep" - was an Italian pro-team mechanic. In the 1970s he started a business as bicycle manufacturer. His frames where mainly built by the expert hands of Giovanni - "Vanni" - Losa. This Magni illustrates refined triangular cutouts on the lugs and underneath the bottom bracket with a "V" shape to symbolise his nickname 'Vanni'. The frame itself is made of slightly oversized yet light steel tubes, which promise a strong and stable base for a performance bike. 

What makes this bicycle even more special is that it has been built in colaberation with a company called Ital Cicli Systems from Zurich, Switzerland. They have turned a piece of practical racing equipment into collectible masterpieces that would forever make bicycle collectors go all weak at the knees. 

The frame quite typical of ICS is adorned in cromovelato paint with the fork, rear triangle and head tube coated in 24k gold. Keeping to the golden theme, the Campagnolo Super Record groupset was also plated in 5 micron thick 18k gold.

The Campagnolo Super Record drivetrain components were also re-worked by ICS. An Anatomic gear shift levers with rubber inserts, front derailleur with chain catcher, 3-D system diagonally adjustable rear derailleur and 53T chaining with chain guides.
