There are not many cycling fans not familiar with brand Gios. Founded by Tolmino Gios in Turin area back in 1948, bikes in the typical blue paintjob were ridden to countless victories by riders like Roger de Vlaeminck, Patrick Sercu, Didi Thurau or Fons de Wolf.
Gios Pista bicycle we present you here is one of these bicycles for serious competitions. The Italian frame is made of heat treated aluminium alloy and it's clear from the first glance that it has been made for some serious speed on the track. The massive downtube and stiff bottom bracket area guarantee great power transfer and the overall sleek shape just cuts through the air. To shorten the weelbase the seattube features a significant cutout for the rear wheel. The carbon fiber front fork is then made by Mizuno in Japan.
As for the components it is equipped with Campagnolo Record Pista parts including the wheelset fitted with competition level Vittoria tyres.
