Description
Cycles Mercier is a French bicycle manufacturer founded in 1919 by Emile Mercier in Saint-Etienne, the cradle of French cycling manufacturing.
Many famous Champions like Poulidor made the bikes in distinctive pink colour famous all over the world. This classic Mercier dates back to late 1970s and it is an elegant road bicycle indeed.
The frame is made of Columbus Aelle steel tubes connected traditionally by lugs. Regarding the components, what else would fit better than a mix of nice French parts? And so there is Mafac braking set or Simplex shifting. Also Italian Nisi rims, Japanese Shimano hubs and SR pedals are to be found on this pretty bike with original yellow paintjob.
A classic racing bicycle with a sweet touch.
