Before Giant developed into the mega-brand it is today, they were mostly known as reliable sub contractors who built bikes for other large companies like Schwinn.
But with having all the know-how of making a bicycle in house, they started to explore into new territories and launched some models under their own name. Soon Giant became one of the leaders of the industry.
One of good examples why is this Giant from the early 90s. An extra stable built and well balanced road racer. Based on steel lugged frame, it is equipped with Shimano parts and as a bonus a brand new wheelset.
