Description

There is not many information about the Suzzi brand. But the thing we know bring us closer to the fact, that these bikes are little gems of the Italian frame building tradition and are rightfully highly saugt after by experienced collectors. Alfredo Suzzi was a true craftsman. He was wielding his torch in the workshop in Imola, but presented his works in Bologna based shop. It was a place well known in the area for bikes of exquisite quality. But not all Suzzi bikes there were built by Alfredo. Some of them were made for him by the most noble workshops at the time - Marnati, Colnago or Pelà to name a few - and then branded by Suzzi.

Alfredo Suzzi remained in business exceptionally long and he was active in building frames from 1920s to the 1980s. This Suzzi Record is one of the later bikes of his and inspecting it closely, you will see why he had such a reputation.

What elevates this bike to even higher lever are the parts. It is equipped with Campagnolo Super Record gruppo and Cinelli stem, but that is not all. Some of the parts have been pantographed in an extremely precise and beautiful way. It is no surprise, because they are a work of one of the masters of this art - Gino Cornazzani. Famously, he decorated many Patelli and Ortelli frames,

The Ambrosio clincher rims fitted with brand new Tufo handmade tubular-clincher tires make the bike complete and make the bike smooth rolling.

An artisanal frame with parts which match its class and quality.
