Description
There is no much we know about the origins of this bike. It seems that ABA was a small bicycle shop in the Italian town of Porto Recanati on the coast of the Adriatic sea. This ABA Special classic road bike stems from the 1970s and it arrived in our shop in good original condition with an unusual brick orange paintjob.
The frame is really nicely made with some interesting solutions like for example the seat lug. The seat post is secured in place by a clamping bolt in front of the seat tube but also with a second bolt from behind. As several stickers on the frame state, this bike has been equipped with Shimano 1st generation Dura-Ace parts from the 70s. These are top of the line components are manufactured with typical Japanese precision. On top of that you have the luxurious Cinelli cockpit with leather cover, Fiamme rims or the NOS Larcia suede leather saddle.
Great choice for classic cycling events and indeed any weekend ride.
