Description
Founded in 1972 by Falconi Lodovico, in the "steel era" of cycling industry, the Italian brand ALAN was worldwide known for lugged aluminium and carbon fiber bicycle frames. Thanks to an excellent know-how in this field, ALAN partnered with many other brands – such as Colnago – and provided them with high-quality aluminium frames. The Alan frames were particularly successful when it got rough and muddy. Their cyclocross bikes won no less than 20 (sic!) world championship titles. A series without comparison.
Despite the aluminium frame, ALAN bikes are allowed to enter Eroica events worldwide. This 1970s ALAN frame has been built up by our mechanics with Eroica requirements in mind: gravel suitable Panaracer tires and a large 28T freewheel for climbing. As for the gearing, this ALAN is equipped with Gipiemme down-tube shifters and a Campagnolo gearing.
Inspected and serviced in our workshop. Ready for the adventure!
