Alan was founded in Italy by Falconi Lodovico in 1972. The name ALAN is, quite poetically, a composition of the names of his son ALberto and his daughter ANnamaria. And also, less poetically, stands for ALuminium ANodised. ALAN is best known for lugged aluminium bicycle frames.
