Description
Alan was founded in Italy by Falconi Lodovico in 1972. The name ALAN is a composition of the names of his son ALberto and his daughter ANnamaria. Alan collected such an expertise on the field of quality aluminium and carbon fiber frames, that many other brands simply bought frames from Alan and had them re-branded. Colnago might be the most famous one.
The Alan frames were particularly successful when it got rough and muddy. Their cyclocross bikes won no less than 20 (sic!) world championship titles. A series without comparison.
This bike we present here is one of those successful cyclocross models from the 1970s. The unique combination of an advanced lightweight frame, and top quality parts turns this racer into a real milestone in the history of racing bicycles.
Our Alan Classic Cyclocross Road Bike from the 1970s is equipped with top of the line Campagnolo Record parts and the legendary Mafac cantilever brakes. 32mm challenge tires are guiding you with grip through every corner of the rough roads ahead of you. Actually this would be a very comfortable bike to tackle the Strade Bianche on.
Completely checked in our workshop. Ready to ride!
