Description
Cicli Zanella is a smaller brand founded by Dino Zanella in Pordenone, northern Italy. It is quite well known for quality steel bikes and has been also doing a lot of frames as a contractor for bigger and more famous brands. But in the case of our cyclocross bike Zanella decided to turn things around and put it's label on one of the best proven manufacturers in this field - Alan.
The Italian Alan frames were particularly successful when it got rough and muddy. Their cyclocross bikes won no less than 20 (sic!) world championship titles. A series without comparison.
This bike we present here is one of those successful cyclocross models from the early 80s. Our Zanella by Alan classic cyclocross bike has blue anodized aluminium tubes in the main triangle connected with lugs from the same material. It is equipped with a blend of Campagnolo parts and some interesting bits like Modolo cantilever brakes, or fabulous Suntour bar-end shifters. The Cinelli cockpit consisting of black XR stem and Campione del Mondo bars gives the bike a refined touch.
Great and actually very comfortable bike for you adventures when the road get tough or disappears altogether.
