Description
Founded in 1981 by the Basso brothers, the Italian brand basso has always been the forefront of innovative steel designs with a classic appearance.
The top model in the early years of the company was the Basso Gap, just as this Basso Gap 72 in original condition. The lugged steel frame is equipped with a fine blend of reliable parts from Campagnolo, Ofmega and Universal. Basically everything one needs to take part in any Eroica event worldwide:
– a pre-1987 steel lugged frame
– external routed cables
– down-tube shifters
– low-profile rims with least 32 spokes.
The bike arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in original condition and underwent a complete service. Worn parts as tires, chain, cables and bar tape have been replaced. This means the bike is ready to be ridden.
An elegant classic bicycle with a good value!
