Description
Giovanni Battaglin was not only a great stylist as a rider but also an innovative producer of absolute top class racing frames. In fact, a great margin of the legendary Italian steel frames from the 1980s and 1990s had been produced in his manufacture in Bassano del Grappa, many of which for other famous companies.
And this small sized Battaglin steel racer is a true representative of the breed. Its frame is made of CrMo steel tubes connected by lugs, creating a solid base for this reliable machine. The components have been chosen to follow the classic style and to keep it simple to maintain. And so it has brake cable outside of the bars, nice pantographed stem, downtube shifters and 2x6 shifting. Where neccesary, new or mint parts have been used.
This bike has been checked in our workshop and it is redy to be ridden. If you are looking for a classic bike for everyday rides, which you can take to a classic cycling event as well, this might be your choice.
