Description
Bauer was one of the typical German bicycle factories which built all kinds of different models from children bicycles up to professional racing machines. In 1952 they had their biggest victory, when German rider Heinz Müller won the World Championship on a Bauer road bike.
This Bauer is a unique ladies bike, something which we have never seen before. The frame is a very simple, yet elegant "anglais" frame, painted in a typical red colour with nice golden outlines. The lugs are very solid pieces and add to the impression of reliability. The components are high-end, from the FB hubs, to the Universal brakes and Weinmann rims. Cherry on the top is the Simplex Champion du Monde gearing.
The bike arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in original, impeccable condition. Our mechanic checked all components and made sure this superb, elegant vintage bike will deliver a pleasant riding feeling.
Rare. Suitable for Eroica events.
