Description

André Bertetto, former French racer and artisan frame builder opened his cycling shop in 1974. There in the small town of Bellegarde sur Valserine, close to to the Swiss border and Geneve, ambitous riders could have bikes made to their measures and equipped with finest parts.

In around 1984 our Bertetto was soldered and subsequently built up as a bike.
Its tubing is the finest which Atéliers de la Rive made, the Super Vitus 980. It forms a frameset which is pretty lightweight. And its optics with elegant, slim, finely filed lugs equals the quality of the raw material.

But it is not only the frame which is of stunning quality, also the parts are some of the sweetest of their time just as the extra light CLB professional brakes or the equally feathery Huret Jubilee shifting proves. And we should not forget to mention the Bertetto stem and handlebar or legendarily smooth Maxi Car hubs!
This bike is of such excellence that it is would not have to fear a comparison with a professionals Tour de France bike of its time.

Our Bertetto is one of the finest French bikes we had so far and a perfect companion for all kinds of riding.

Delicious in all the details!
