Description

The Bianchi Reparto Corse was Bianchi's special unit for the construction of highest class racing frames. In the 1980s and 1990s, the quality of their production processes trickled down to a number of models, made for the ambitious non-professional rider. Consequently those bikes received a label with the prestigious 'Reparto Corse' logo.
A bike with one of these frames is the one we are presenting here.

The frame has been built of excellent Columbus TSX tubing, which makes for a strong construction. TSX was a development of the famous SLX tubing with helical reinforcements on the full inner length of the main tubes. Our Bianchi has a very nice detail of the slightly oversized down tube, which has been ovalized similar to Columbus Max tubes.
What is worth mentioning, too, are the chromed fork and rear stays and the typical paintjob of our Bianchi. It is an intriguing pearly celeste which became the number one paint for Bianchi road bikes in the 1990s.
As for the parts, is is equipped with a Campagnolo Veloce 8-speed groupset with the Ergopower shifters on the bars. Very flashy are also the deep Campagnolo Scirocco clincher wheels with bladed spokes.
The comfort of brake lever shifting and an advanced steel frame transform our Bianchi into a marvellous sportster which takes cobbles as well as a sprint down your road.
A ride supreme.
