Description

The mid 1980s were an exiting time regarding Bianchi's top class models. Some of the finest Constructions left Milan in these years to shine a celeste light onto the world. There is the Specialissima X3, then - of course - the Centenario anniversary model and the Specialissima X4. Lower class models were represented by countless product lines of Rekord, Corsa or Campione d'Italia. There were also many exemplars made with some details derived from the regular series. Just like this one.

Our Bianchi classic road bike stems from the 1980s and is panted in maybe the most recognizable colors in the business - Bianchi celeste. Regarding the frame itself, it is made of Columbus tubes, creating a very stable and supporting base even for heavier riders. There are some very common details shared across many models like seat stay caps with "B" or with the same symbol appearing on the head lug. What sets this one apart though is the fork. Known from the absolute top model X3 with Columbus Air blades and Bianchi elegantly engraved on the crown, this one is completely chromed.

Regarding the components, Campagnolo Chorus groupset with C-Record indexed shifters has been chosen ans so was the Flite Titanium saddle or 3ttt cockpit.

Our Bianchi has been completely checked in our workshop and where necessary, parts (like tires, chain or bar tape) have been replaced for new ones. Good 1980s choice for all Bianchi fans.
