Description
When it comes to vintage bicycles, there a few things as iconic as the famous "Celeste Bianchi". Indissolubly connected with the epic victories of Fausto Coppi and Felice Gimondi, the Bianchi paintwork has become a legend through the years.
As many of you out there may have already experienced at L'Eroica events, Bianchi bikes are pretty popular, with "Celeste bicycles" to be found everywhere. Despite that popularity, they are terrifically sought after amongst collectors and vintage bike lovers around the globe.
This Bianchi from approximately 1973 shows perfectly the typical Bianchi charm regardless its age. In fact, it is one of those models which were designed to save some of the classic style of old Bianchis for a modern era. So to no surprise the headset reminds a bit of the old 'Campione del Mondo' models.
If you are looking for a genuine Bianchi bicycle to take part in cycling events as L'Eroica, this Celeste beauty is a great item! Campagnolo Record shifting, bottom bracket and crankset, Universal Extra brakes, Gnutti hubs, and Nisi rims: what an excellent and sweet combination of parts!
On top comes a new Bianchi bidon in the original bottle holder and an original Bianchi Silca pump.
Handle with care: easy to fall in love with!
