Description
The Bianchi Reparto Corse was Bianchi's special unit for the construction of highest class racing frames. In the 1980s and 1990s, the quality of their production processes trickled down to a number of models, made for the ambitious non-professional rider. Consequently those bikes received a label with the prestigious 'Reparto Corse' logo.
A bike with one of these frames is the one we are presenting here.
The frame of our Bianchi Reparto Corse Mega Set has been built of excellent Dedacciai Zero (18MCDV6 H.T.) tubing, one of the best lightweight tubeset designed for professional racing. One of the distinctive signs of of this model is the beefy down tube which makes for a very strong main triangle. Onother signature detail is the shifting cable routed across the right chain stay. The tubes are TIG welded together and of course painted in the iconic celeste colour.
Such a high performance frame has to be equipped with some very good parts and that's exactly what our Bianchi has. Campagnolo Record Shifting with Record Titanium Ergopower brifters, Centaur brakes or indeed the Shamal wheelset are some of the best parts of the era.
What is worth mentioning, too, are the chromed fork and rear stays and the typical paintjob of our Bianchi. It is an intriguing pearly celeste which became the number one
If you are looking for a nice ride, iconic Bianchi appearance with some flashy 90s Campy jewelery, you shouldn't miss miss one.
