Bianchi Classic Road Bike 1980s

When it comes to vintage bicycles, there are few brands which are as well known as Bianchi, Italy's oldest manufacturer still in business. Indissolubly connected with the epic victories of Fausto Coppi, Felice Gimondi and many other riders, the Bianchi bikes have become a legend.

As many of you out there may have already experienced at L'Eroica events, Bianchi bikes are pretty popular, with "celeste bicycles" to be found everywhere. But celeste is not the only colour in which Bianchi bikes were produced as our Bianchi Classic Road Bike from the 1980s shows.

It still radiates typical Bianchi charme. The frame, formed from Columbus tubing, sports the bright a nice metallic red. As parts you find a complete Shimano 600 Ultegra groupset which is legendarily reliable.
If you are looking for a Bianchi bicycle to ride everyday, this little red riding hood won't disappoint you! The Ultegra groupset will provide you with enough control for any route. You can even use it in Eroica California, since it applies to thze rules of this event, when you switch the shifting from indexed to friction. Which can be done with a twist on a screw at the right shifting lever. A well balanced combination of of frame and parts.
