Bianchi Reparto Corse EL OS Classic Road Bicycle 1990s

The Bianchi Reparto Corse was Bianchi's special unit for the construction of highest class racing frames. In the 1980s and 1990s, the quality of their production processes trickled down to a number of models, made for the ambitious non-professional rider who wanted to ride the same frames like Mario Cipollini and other stars.
Consequently those bikes received a label with the prestigious 'Reparto Corse' logo.

Just like our Bianchi Reparto Corse EL-OS road bike. The frame is based on exquisite Columbus EL Oversize tubes (Extra Leggeri = Extra Light), one of the very best ones of that time. Thanks to the reduced thickness of the tubes made of exclusive Nivacrome steel and slightly larger dimeters, this tubing is lightweight yet very stable.

As a true Bianchi it sports the pearly celeste paintjob in a shade typical for the 90s.

As a racing bike it is also equipped accordingly. Shimano Dura-Ace (7400 series in this case) was the top of the like racing equipment used by some of the best riders of the era. Very well made, good looking and running like a clockworks with crisp gearchanges - that was the flagship of the Japanese company in the 1990s. And it didn't loose any of that to these days. Notable is also the Bianchi branded ITM cockpit, the beautiful suede leather Turbo saddle or the FIR Tour Benidorm clincher tyres.

When needed, parts were exchanged for brand new ones like the handmade tyres, chain, cables, bartape etc. It has been completely checked and serviced in our Berlin workshop and that means - ready to ride!
