Description
The Bianchi X-Pro St is one of the last high-end steel racing bicycles manufactured in the 1990s by the famous Milanese brand. In fact, on the wave of Pantani victories, the whole production switched to aluminium frames in 1999.
The highlight of this racing machine is certainly the steel frame. Developed by the Bianchi Reparto Corse and handmade in Italy, it consists of high-end Deda Zero 18MCDV6HT tubes - as for the seat and top-tube - and of a very typical Bianchi Mega-Pro down tube with various and increasing diameters to the bottom bracket. Bianchi developers wanted to design a frame better withstanding the twisting in the BB area. A Bianchi carbon fork completes the frameset which is then very light - 1650gr for a 55cm according to Bianchi catalog - and very stiff, yet comfortable.
This Bianchi X-Pro St is in new old stock condition, thus it is impeccable and ready to be ridden. A complete Campagnolo Chorus groupset will also provide the right performance for all high-demanding riders.
