Bianchi is one of the oldest manufacturers in the bussines, which are still in existence. Bicycles of this iconic brand are still very popular and highly praised by the collectors all over the world. Bianchi always made a wide range of models, from every day rides to top level racing machines.
This Bianchi Rekord 858 is a typical representative of a mid / high range 1980s Bianchi with the main frame triangle made of lugged Columbus tubes. It is an elegant and clean looking bike, but on the second glance, it starts to show many nice little details. So for example the seat stays are flattened in aero style, the dropouts are made by Bianchi and it goes on - cromed stay caps with "B" logo, pantographed fork crown, direct front derailleur mount and it goes on...
Our Rekord 858 has the original equipment with a Gipiemme groupset, which includes the direct mounted front derailleur. When needed, we decided to swap some parts for brand new one and so you will have a fresh bartape, chain, housing, brake cables and even the premium Japanese Panaracer Pasela PT clincher tires with puncture protection.
